ABOUT ME
I'm Virginia,
a science communicator with a background in environmental anthropology. My research focuses on the emotional and mental health effects of environmental change on communities.

My curiosity for the interplay between humans and nature was cemented as a young adult writing my thesis on human-wildlife interactions. This curiosity led me to follow opportunities that allowed me to blend my love of writing with environmental research to make the science of human-nature relationships accessible.

My academic background feeds into my artistic work, with my photography often reflecting human-wildlife connection and capturing people in their element.

Some things that excite me: scuba diving (being in water in general!), spotting wildlife, good Indian food, gardening...
